April

Fairbrother

As a Person‑Centred Counsellor and Somatic Therapist, I work with clients who are navigating shame, self‑doubt, anxiety, trauma, and the pressures of external expectations. My practice is grounded in a trauma‑informed, compassionate and relational approach, integrating both psychological insight and body‑based awareness to support meaningful and sustainable change.

I understand the courage it takes to explore long‑held patterns and experiences. Like many of the people I support, I have walked my own path of healing and continue to evolve both personally and professionally. This ongoing growth allows me to offer a therapeutic space that is steady, attuned and deeply respectful of each client’s pace and process.

My work centres on helping individuals reconnect with themselves — beyond the influence of past experiences, family conditioning, education, work, relationships and societal expectations. Therapy is not a quick fix; it is a gradual re‑alignment with your own truth, clarity and inner peace. It is a privilege to accompany clients as they rediscover their voice, their agency and their sense of self.

I am a Registered Member of the BACP, fully insured, DBS checked, and committed to high standards of practice through regular clinical supervision and ongoing Continuing Professional Development. My aim is to provide a safe, grounded and holistic therapeutic environment where you can explore, reflect and grow with confidence.

Don’t let the past dictate your future.
